Hello all, been watching these boards for awhile now and find this to be a good place to get info.
I have a 1988 Mercury Cougar with a 5.0, and before I bother with a motor swap, I want to prep the car to be able to put power to the ground. I've read articles on subframe connectors and understand how they work and why you need them, however, I'm not sure of the ones to buy, because they all say mustang. I know quite a few parts are interchangable, but they differences of wheelbase, ect has me concerned, and I havent heard of a company that makes Thunderbird or Cougar specific subframe connectors.
Any suggestions? I know some say make your own, I simply dont have a way to fabricate them, nor the know how.
