Adding a blower to a h/c/i sd car

... power I could make and keep it sd. I know you can add a blower to a stock sd car, but do things change if the car has already been modded like mine? How do you know what fmu, injectors, fuel pump, timing, etc... I am only looking to add an entry level 5-6psi blower. It's not a race car by any ...

Re: track width

... disc brakes, and about 1.5" of additional rear track. Not a bad deal considering you can get the entire assembly for probably $200 to $300. Mine was $250, and I added LSC front calipers and an SVO master cylinder for a cheap-but-effective 4-wheel disc setup. Works great, looks mean with ...

Re: Timing in my Mustang was set to 24° !!

I've heard of guys running low 20's before, but not with stock motors. I run about 17*-18* in mine when I go to the track, about 14*-15* around the street.

... a 3.55 gear'd stocker. Not even one with more mods and/or less weight. Tell Huddy that my car had 3.55's in it every time we ran :P Although mine qualified as a "more mods" car  For the record, I recomend 4.10's minumum unless using a turbo. is the myth about moving the ...

Re: Stroker build question with speed density

It runs fine as long as the cam is stock
Built a 347 already for an 88 w SD for a freind of mine
We kept the stock cam but did the heads up, and it made mad power, and idled fine

Re: A-Pillar Gauge setup question

When I did mine I got the speaker cover back on... but not without some serious effort.
I had to come at it from and angle and twist the cover into place. Luckily it is plastic so it pops back to shape.

Re: Intake and CAM for a 347 N/A

... to 6300 but I keep the shift points to 6100. spend the extra 50$ or so and go with a good custom cam. I have a small cam by comparison and yet mine makes the power levels of those with much larger heads, intake & cam. remember that when picking your components. choose carefully and do the ...

Re: Blown heater core again, help!

Don't use the autozone core again. Mine went after 30,000 miles and I did the job right. I reused the restrictor that came in the original heater hose. If you don't have one you can buy one for a few bucks. I know autozone has lifetime warranty ...

Re: Blown heater core again, help!

This is a common issue. I lost mine on my 87. One solution is to do as you have done and loop it at the fire wall. Another solution would be to put a fixed orfice in the line to reduce the pressure.... though you may want to measure you ...

Clutch Cable

Anyone know where I can get a FORD clutch cable? It seems aftermarket cables suck. Mine split near the tranny after one year now the pedal is very very hard to depress.

let me guess - bolted up to the blanked off head. I'd have done this too if mine were not drilled to make the heads functional.

I think that uses an FMU - correct?

Bascially piches off the fuel return line to boost fuel pressure with air pressure?

did you need to freshen your enigne and do that with a used Explorer? If mine went south, you bet I'd be buying a good used Exolorer engine.
